Hold Me To This is a simple accountability tool. You tell us what you want to accomplish, and we'll email you a reminder to check in on your progress.
How does it work?
- Enter your commitment (what you want to accomplish)
- Provide your email address
- Choose when you want to be reminded
- We'll email you at that time to ask if you've done it
Is it free?
Yes! Hold Me To This is completely free to use.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required to create reminders. Just enter your email and we'll verify it the first time. For more frequent users, you can optionally log in to see and manage all your reminders in one place.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Email verification ensures we're sending reminders to the right person and protects against spam and abuse. You only need to verify once per email address.
What happens when I receive a reminder?
You'll get an email with your commitment and two options:
- “I’ve done this” - Mark it complete and celebrate your win!
- “Remind me again” - Reschedule for later (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or custom date)
Can I manage my reminders?
Yes! Log in to access your dashboard where you can see upcoming reminders, completed commitments, and mark items as done. If you have already set up reminders but don't yet have an account, just log in and we'll automatically import your existing lists.
How do I stop receiving emails?
Every reminder email includes an unsubscribe link. Click it to stop all reminder emails. You can re-subscribe anytime from our homepage. Any reminders still outstanding will be re-instated.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We only store your email and your commitment text. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
I didn't receive my verification email. What should I do?
Check your spam/junk folder first. If it's not there, try creating a new reminder - we'll send a fresh verification link. Make sure you entered your email address correctly.
